Commercial Lawyer – Consultant (Self‑Employed)

About the role

Richard Nelson LLP is seeking experienced commercial solicitors to join its national network as self‑employed consultants. The role offers full flexibility to work remotely or from office while managing your own client portfolio and caseload.

Key responsibilities

• Provide commercial legal advice and representation to professional and business clients.
• Manage and grow a personal caseload, ensuring high‑quality service and timely delivery.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory obligations and firm policies.
• Collaborate with the firm’s compliance, admin, and accounts teams.

Required profile

• Senior solicitor with post‑qualification experience in commercial law.
• Proven ability to manage a client base and generate at least £100,000 annual billing.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently while upholding firm values.
