Commercial Property Manager – London

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Commercial Property Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of office and mixed‑use retail assets across London. The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison for landlords, tenants and service providers while ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of approximately eight office buildings and 50 retail units, primarily on a full‑repair‑and‑insurance basis.
• Serve as the main point of contact for landlords, tenants, contractors and professional advisers.
• Oversee lease events such as rent reviews, renewals, licences, assignments and tenant alterations.
• Prepare, reconcile and present service‑charge budgets, securing client approval with finance support.
• Coordinate repairs, maintenance and compliance activities, working with facilities teams and external contractors.
• Maintain accurate property records and ensure statutory, health‑and‑safety and fire‑safety obligations are met.
• Support asset‑management initiatives, providing reporting and recommendations to enhance value and reduce voids.

Required profile

• Previous experience in commercial property management, preferably within the London market.
• Strong understanding of commercial leases, service charges and landlord‑tenant matters.
• Team‑player who builds positive relationships with key stakeholders.
• Confident communicator with solid organisational, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Comfortable managing multiple properties and priorities simultaneously.
• MRICS qualification or progress towards it is beneficial but not essential.
