Commercial Trading Manager

About the role

The Commercial Trading Manager will drive revenue for ITV’s commercial team by selling the full suite of ITV, ITVX and YouTube advertising products. Based in White City, London, the role focuses on expanding volume and market share across a designated portfolio of agencies and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Sell all ITV commercial products across linear and digital platforms, identifying brands spending elsewhere and converting them to ITV.
• Manage accounts within the portfolio, staying up‑to‑date with ITV offers and aligning with client marketing objectives.
• Develop strong relationships with senior agency and client stakeholders to create clear revenue‑driving strategies.
• Conduct insight sessions and presentations, collaborating with research and data teams to demonstrate value.
• Evolve trading models and design bespoke solutions to meet sales targets.
• Work with internal teams – technology, data, planning, sales ops – to enhance sales material and ensure campaign delivery.
• Use analytics and reporting to identify new advertising targets and support the Trading Controller in negotiations.
• Maintain compliance with legal, CRR and finance requirements throughout deal management.

Required profile

• Proven ability to work in a high‑performing team and achieve ambitious revenue goals.
• In‑depth knowledge of TV & VOD trading and the broader digital advertising market.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with senior‑level influence.
• Commercially astute with a track record of selling and negotiating premium products.
• Proactive, adaptable and confident in a results‑driven environment.
