Companion Driver

About the role

Join a growing community‑focused transport service that helps older adults and people with disabilities stay active and connected. As a Companion Driver you will use wheelchair‑accessible vehicles to provide safe, friendly transport across Stratford upon Avon and surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities

• Drive wheelchair‑accessible vehicles to transport clients to appointments, social activities and daily errands.
• Provide courteous companionship, assisting clients with boarding, alighting and any immediate needs during the journey.
• Maintain a clean, well‑kept vehicle and report any issues promptly.
• Adhere to agreed schedules while offering flexibility to accommodate client requests.

Required profile

• Residence within 5–15 minutes of Stratford upon Avon.
• Friendly, people‑oriented personality who enjoys building connections with clients.
• Flexible availability; hours and days are negotiable but must be reliably followed.
• Suitable for semi‑retired individuals or those seeking a part‑time, backup role.
• No penalty points on driving licence.
