Configuration Change Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Configuration Change Manager to join a world‑leading aerospace organisation in Filton. The role is hybrid (80 % onsite) and involves managing the end‑to‑end configuration change process for the A320 family programmes, ensuring data accuracy, compliance and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full configuration change lifecycle for standard and customised modifications.
• Maintain governance and compliance with internal configuration standards.
• Chair cross‑functional meetings, prepare documentation and coordinate stakeholders.
• Support industrialisation activities, including modification batching and programme alignment.
• Manage configuration tools such as ACC2, ensuring data traceability.
• Oversee modification opening, workflow progression and closure.
• Produce modification breakdowns for certification and programme delivery.
• Provide regular updates and act as the focal point for configuration queries.

Required profile

• Proven experience in configuration management or change control within a complex engineering environment.
• Background in aerospace or another highly regulated industry.
• Strong stakeholder management and coordination abilities.
• Detail‑driven approach with capacity to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Experience with configuration tools such as ACC2 or similar.
• Familiarity with enterprise systems like SAP.
