Construction Manager – EV Infrastructure

About the role

M Group Energy is expanding its EV team and seeks an experienced Construction Manager to lead safe, high‑quality electric‑vehicle infrastructure projects across the UK. Based in Liverpool, you will coordinate site activities, subcontractors and client interactions to deliver reliable charging solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate personnel, subcontractors and site management for EV charging installations.
• Maintain client liaison, supervision and technical support throughout construction phases.
• Ensure safety standards are met, conduct toolbox talks and HSE inspections.
• Prepare and issue permits, construction phase plans, RAMS and ITP documentation.
• Manage plant, tools, materials and utilities coordination, including excavation permitting.
• Support the Contract Manager with programming, plant requirements and project handover documentation.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement on site.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Construction Manager in infrastructure or utilities projects.
• Strong focus on safety, quality and client satisfaction.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
