Construction Manager – Plymouth/Exeter

About the role

KONE is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead lift and escalator installation projects for its Plymouth/Exeter team. You will oversee project delivery from planning through to hand‑over, ensuring safety, quality and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute installation projects, meeting programme targets and budgets.
• Lead on‑site field teams, promoting safe and efficient work practices.
• Monitor health & safety compliance and enforce KONE standards.
• Manage stakeholder relationships with customers, contractors and internal departments.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, supporting continuous improvement.
• Drive performance, engagement and capability growth within engineering teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing construction, engineering or installation projects.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Knowledge of health & safety legislation and industry standards.
• Ability to handle multiple stakeholders and priorities.
• Full UK driving licence.
