Consultant Solicitor – Self‑Employed Legal Consultant

About the role

Richard Nelson LLP is seeking experienced senior solicitors to join its national network of consultant solicitors. Working as a self‑employed consultant, you will enjoy the freedom to manage your own client base while benefiting from the firm’s compliance, administrative, and marketing support.

Key responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload confidently and deliver high‑quality legal advice.
• Focus on fee‑earning activities and nurture client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations and maintain professional indemnity insurance.
• Collaborate with the firm’s compliance, admin, and accounts teams.

Required profile

• Senior solicitor with post‑qualification experience.
• Proven ability to generate at least £100,000 of annual billing.
• Strong client following and excellent case management skills.
• Desire to work independently within a supportive national firm.
