Consumer Claims Paralegal (French Speaking)

About the role
Join easyJet’s Legal & Litigation team as a Consumer Claims Paralegal supporting French‑speaking markets. You will work closely with the French Legal Advisor and a cross‑functional legal function to handle compensation and refund claims arising from flight disruptions.
Key responsibilities
- Process consumer claims under EU261, the Montreal Convention and easyJet’s terms for flight delays, cancellations and other operational disruptions.
- Assess claims, prepare defence statements with external advisors and manage mediation or ADR cases.
- Support customer‑service teams with pre‑action cases and ensure data accuracy in internal systems.
- Liaise with courts, track administrative steps and see cases through to settlement or judgment.
- Provide legal advice to customer‑service on consumer‑law queries and maintain claim databases and payment records.
- Translate legal documents into French when required.
Required profile
- Fluent or native French speaker (minimum C1 level).
- Legal background or experience as a paralegal/legal assistant, preferably with exposure to civil litigation.
- Strong organisational abilities and capacity to handle high volumes of work.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
