Contracts Manager – Fit Out & Refurbishment

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead fit‑out and refurbishment projects across the South East. You will oversee a portfolio of industrial and commercial projects, ensuring they are delivered to the highest standard, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects valued between £100k and £3m, from inception to handover.
• Conduct site visits and hold weekly contracts meetings to track progress.
• Prepare and control project timelines, contract instructions, technical submittals and RFIs.
• Liaise with Service Centre Managers and Directors to implement best practices.
• Report regularly to senior directors on project status and performance.

Required profile

• Extensive experience as a Contracts Manager, Projects Manager or Construction Manager.
• Background in industrial or commercial fit‑out and refurbishment, preferably CAT A projects.
• Strong industry contacts are highly beneficial.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across all organisational levels.

• Salary £55,000 – £80,000 per year plus bonus (tbc)
