About the role

Join Virgin Media O₂’s Signalling Design team as a Core Voice Signalling Designer. You will shape and steer design across core voice network platforms, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable and customer‑focused.

Key responsibilities

• Design and steer signalling‑related projects, providing high‑ and low‑level technical design documentation.
• Lead design requirements, influence vendor outcomes and support automated testing initiatives.
• Ensure designs meet performance, security and capacity criteria across both legacy and next‑generation networks.
• Act as a trusted design authority within project teams, guiding project delivery to optimal outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and configuring Ericsson IP‑STP and DSC signalling products.
• Strong understanding of core voice signalling technologies and network evolution.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple locations and influence cross‑functional teams.
