Corporate Finance & M&A Director – Financial Services

About the role

Join a fast‑growing Corporate Finance team focused on expanding its Financial Services offering. You will work directly with senior leadership, own client relationships and drive M&A and lead‑advisory transactions across a broad range of financial services firms.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute M&A and lead‑advisory mandates from origination to completion.
• Develop and maintain relationships with corporate, private‑equity and financial‑sponsor clients.
• Support business‑development activities across the Financial Services sector.
• Manage and mentor junior team members on live transactions.
• Contribute to the strategic growth of the Financial Services Corporate Finance practice.

Required profile

• Proven experience in M&A, lead advisory, corporate finance or investment banking.
• Strong exposure to the Financial Services sector (e.g., Insurance, FinTech, Payments, Banking, Wealth Management, Asset Management).
• Demonstrated ability to lead transactions and manage client relationships.
• Commercially minded with strong business‑development capabilities.
• ACA, CFA or equivalent qualifications are advantageous.
