Corporate Finance Origination Director

About the role

This senior position leads the origination function within a boutique corporate finance advisory firm. You will be responsible for generating new M&A mandates, nurturing client relationships and contributing to the firm’s strategic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Drive business development and originate new mergers and acquisitions mandates.
• Manage and expand key client relationships across owner‑managed businesses.
• Lead presentations for prospective deals and new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with experienced deal execution teams to deliver high‑quality transactions.
• Provide strategic input to support the continued growth of the advisory practice.

Required profile

• Director, Managing Director or Partner‑level experience in corporate finance.
• Strong background in mergers and acquisitions with a proven track record of winning work.
• Demonstrated business development success and a robust commercial network.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑management abilities.
