Corporate Solicitor – M&A & Private Equity (5+ yrs PQE)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Solicitor to join our growing commercial practice in Greater Manchester. This is a senior, full‑time position offering autonomy over high‑value transactional work and a key part in the firm’s business development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead M&A transactions, private equity deals and investment work from start to finish.
• Advise on shareholder agreements, group restructures and broader corporate governance matters.
• Negotiate, draft and complete transaction documentation.
• Build and maintain long‑term client relationships through clear communication and high‑quality service.
• Participate actively in business development, networking and new client acquisition.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in corporate law.
• Strong technical expertise across M&A and general corporate advisory work.
• Proven ability to run transactions independently with a commercial mindset.
• Confidence in advising and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Enthusiasm for business development and client relationship building.
