Corporate Tax Senior Manager

About the role

Our client, a leading independent accountancy and business advisory firm, is expanding its Tax Consultancy team in Glasgow. They are looking for a Corporate Tax Senior Manager to lead a substantial portfolio of corporate tax clients, delivering both compliance and advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a large portfolio of corporate tax clients, overseeing compliance and advisory assignments.
• Act as a trusted adviser to business owners and senior stakeholders, identifying planning opportunities and delivering commercial tax advice.
• Collaborate closely with Partners and Directors to support clients on a range of corporate tax matters.
• Provide technical leadership, reviewing complex tax work and coaching Managers and Assistant Managers.
• Drive department development and contribute to business‑development initiatives.
• Strengthen existing client relationships and support the firm’s growth strategy.

Required profile

• Qualified CTA and/or ACA/CA with extensive experience in corporate tax compliance and advisory.
• Proven ability to manage complex client relationships and large portfolios.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills with a commercial mindset.
• Experience leading teams and contributing to business development is advantageous.
