Counter Fraud Training Officer

About the role
Cifas is seeking a Counter Fraud Training Officer to join the Cifas Academy. In this role you will design, deliver and assess high‑impact learning programmes that help individuals and organisations stay ahead of evolving fraud threats.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver day‑to‑day training and assessments as the lead trainer for Cifas.
- Lead delivery and assessment of regulated fraud‑related courses.
- Act as a subject‑matter expert on counter‑fraud topics, maintaining and expanding professional knowledge.
- Collaborate with the Head of Learning and Business Manager to ensure effective scheduling and operations.
- Identify and promote opportunities to expand Cifas Academy’s training capabilities and product portfolio.
- Support research and analysis of learning feedback, member needs, market trends and technology to inform new training material.
- Drive continuous improvement of services and processes.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders, including academic institutions, to support inspections and assessments of learning provision.
Required profile
- Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training (or equivalent).
- Recognised Assessor qualification (minimum Level 3).
- Proven experience designing and delivering innovative training programmes, preferably in fraud prevention or financial crime.
- Strong passion for developing people and supporting transformational approaches to tackling fraud.
