Counterbalance Forklift Driver – East London Distribution Centre

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our East London Distribution Centre. You will work Monday to Friday, 8am‑4pm, handling mail and parcels in a fast‑paced environment. The role starts as soon as possible and offers a competitive hourly rate.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate counterbalance forklift trucks to load, unload and move mail and parcels throughout the warehouse.
• Maintain high accuracy while handling goods and ensure they are placed in the correct locations.
• Perform daily equipment checks and report any faults or defects.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and site regulations.
• Assist with general warehouse duties when required.

Required profile

• Valid, in‑date Counterbalance forklift licence.
• Previous experience operating a forklift in a busy warehouse or distribution environment.
• Strong awareness of health and safety practices.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
