Cover Supervisor – Flexible Supply & Long‑Term Opportunities

About the role
Vida Education is seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Barrow‑in‑Furness. This flexible supply position is ideal for graduates, experienced youth workers, or anyone looking for short‑term or long‑term classroom support.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise classes during teacher absence.
- Deliver pre‑set lesson plans provided by the school.
- Maintain classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
- Support pupils with their work as required.
Required profile
- Experience working with children or young people (school‑based experience preferred).
- Confidence in managing a classroom environment.
- Strong communication and behaviour‑management abilities.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- A positive, professional attitude.
