About the role
This position supports pupils with additional needs in a specialist setting, using sport, music, drama and the arts to enhance learning. It is based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, and is ideal for candidates who are passionate about creative and inclusive education.
Key responsibilities
- Support pupils throughout the school day, both in lessons and enrichment activities.
- Encourage independence, confidence and positive social interaction.
- Assist in delivering engaging interventions and practical learning experiences.
- Contribute to extra‑curricular clubs that promote creativity and wellbeing.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with students and staff.
Required profile
- Experience working with children or young people with additional needs.
- Enthusiasm for arts, performance, sport or creative activities.
- Patience, adaptability and a proactive approach.
- Commitment to helping every learner achieve their potential.
