Credit Controller

About the role

Northreach is seeking a Credit Controller to join its Operations team. You will be responsible for managing the collections process, maintaining accurate debtor records, and supporting the overall financial health of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain a proactive collections process in line with company policy.
• Ensure all follow‑ups and collection activity are completed within agreed timelines.
• Maintain up‑to‑date debtor records, including contact details, notes, and diary updates.
• Monitor client ledgers for accuracy and support payment allocation by obtaining remittance advice.
• Identify and resolve sales ledger queries in collaboration with Client Management teams.
• Escalate complex or sensitive cases, including those requiring legal action.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering high‑level service.
• Contribute ideas to improve credit control processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in credit control, collections, or accounts receivable.
• Confident communicator able to handle difficult conversations professionally.
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
• Self‑starter who enjoys taking ownership and making a difference.
