Curriculum Quality Advisor – Academic Excellence

About the role

The Curriculum Quality Advisor will support the design, review and continuous improvement of curricula and assessment across the institution. Working closely with academic teams, you will help ensure programmes are inclusive, fit for purpose and aligned with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, review and enhancement of curriculum and assessment materials.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for academic staff on best practices in curriculum design, assessment and pedagogy.
• Support the integration of digital technologies, inclusive practices and generative AI into curriculum and assessment.
• Audit existing curricula and assessments, providing constructive feedback and recommendations.
• Collaborate with the Curriculum Quality Lead and colleagues to ensure consistency, quality and innovation.
• Maintain accurate records of development activities, feedback and impact.
• Respond to curriculum needs identified through data analysis, student feedback and institutional KPIs.

Required profile

• Recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience in curriculum design, review and enhancement in higher education.
• Strong knowledge of contemporary pedagogic practice, assessment and inclusive education.
• Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• Commitment to ethical practice, inclusivity and continuous professional development.

Required skills

What we offer

• Competitive salary £51,000‑£55,000 per year.
