Customer Advisor – Automotive Contact Centre

About the role
Join Lookers' Newcastle Customer Contact Centre as a Customer Advisor, where you will be the first point of contact for customers across phone, email, live chat and digital channels. You will use your communication skills and product knowledge to turn enquiries into bookings and support both sales and after‑sales activities.
Key responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound customer interactions, including scheduling maintenance and promoting service plans.
- Identify upsell opportunities and support lead generation for new and used vehicle sales.
- Maintain accurate notes, data entry and GDPR‑compliant records in Lookers' CRM systems.
- Deliver a friendly, brand‑aligned customer experience across all channels.
- Meet or exceed performance targets for outbound activity and quality standards.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a customer service, contact‑centre or sales environment (preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with dealership teams and take ownership of issues.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying up‑to‑date with product and regulatory changes.

- Permanent full‑time contract (40 hours per week) with a basic salary of £22,000 and OTE up to £30,000.
