Customer Assistant – Market Street & Café

About the role

Join the Market Street and Café team at Morrisons to deliver fresh, high‑quality food and exceptional service to our customers. You will work in a fast‑paced, structured environment, supporting both the café and the market‑street food preparation areas.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve fresh meals, including pizzas, fish, and meat, following Morrisons’ quality standards.
• Provide friendly, efficient service to customers in the café and market‑street areas.
• Maintain clean and safe workstations, using equipment correctly and adhering to health‑and‑safety procedures.
• Support other store functions such as replenishment and customer service when needed.
• Follow timed routines and processes to ensure smooth operation and timely service.

Required profile

• Helpful and friendly attitude with a strong customer‑first mindset.
• Enjoys staying active and working hands‑on in a busy environment.
• Comfortable following structured processes and using equipment safely.
• Team‑player who can adapt to different store areas and tasks.
