About the role
As a Customer Experience Advisor at Santander's Barnsley branch, you will be the friendly face and voice for our customers, helping them with everyday banking needs and ensuring a safe, efficient service experience.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers in‑branch and over the phone.
- Process cash transactions, handle enquiries and provide product information.
- Assist customers with banking technology and guide them through digital services.
- Identify and prevent fraud, scams and other security risks.
- Build relationships, find solutions and continuously look for ways to improve the customer experience.
Required profile
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Ability to work flexibly on a rota covering Monday to Saturday, 8 am‑6 pm.
- Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to support colleagues in a busy branch environment.
- Commitment to Santander’s risk‑aware culture and proactive approach to problem‑solving.
