Customer Experience Advisor – Retail Banking (Rotherham)

About the role
The Customer Experience Advisor will be based in Santander’s Rotherham branch, working 35 hours per week on a rotating schedule from Monday to Saturday (8 am‑6 pm). You will be the first point of contact for customers visiting the branch or calling the contact centre, helping them with everyday banking transactions, queries and fraud protection.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in‑branch and over the phone as the primary point of contact.
- Process cash transactions, deposits, withdrawals and other routine banking services.
- Answer inbound calls to the contact centre, providing accurate information and resolving issues.
- Build relationships with customers and identify solutions that meet their needs.
- Continuously develop knowledge of Santander’s products and services.
- Suggest and implement improvements to enhance the overall customer experience.
Required profile
- Flexible and adaptable, able to work a varied rota covering Monday‑Saturday.
- Comfortable handling a broad range of banking activities and technologies.
- Enjoys a multi‑skilled environment and thrives on variety.
- Team‑oriented with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
