Customer Experience Intern (6‑Month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Experience Intern to join Perlego for a six‑month fixed‑term placement in London. You will be the first point of contact for learners, educators and institutional clients, helping them get the most out of our digital library and ensuring a smooth, supportive experience.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to user queries via email, live chat and ticketing systems with empathy and speed.
• Escalate complex issues to relevant teams and follow up until resolved.
• Maintain and expand a library of saved responses, FAQs, help articles and onboarding resources.
• Collect user feedback, identify recurring pain points and share insights with the product team.
• Assist in onboarding new institutional clients and guide them through the platform.
• Monitor support metrics such as response times, satisfaction scores and resolution rates.
• Support user surveys and interviews to drive CX improvements.
• Collaborate with product, marketing and commercial teams to ensure a cohesive user experience.

Required profile

• A genuine interest in education, edtech or building strategic relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to craft warm, professional messages.
• Personable relationship‑builder who follows through on commitments.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and comfortable managing multiple conversations simultaneously.
• Curious about using AI tools to improve efficiency.
• Proactive mindset – able to spot opportunities and take initiative.
