Customer Sales Advisor

About the role

The Customer Sales Advisor will work in a busy retail environment in Hemel Hempstead, delivering a high standard of service to both existing and prospective customers. You will be the main point of contact for sales enquiries, helping customers choose the right products and services while supporting the store’s financial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Handle sales enquiries face‑to‑face and over the telephone, promoting the full range of services.
• Achieve individual and store sales targets by identifying upsell opportunities.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe store environment in line with health‑and‑safety policies.
• Complete administrative tasks to ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Act as key holder and take responsibility for the store in the absence of management.
• Minimise bad debt by implementing recovery procedures.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties as required.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Clear speaking ability and effective listening when dealing with customers.
• Attention to detail and ability to work within guidelines.
• Comfortable working both in a small team and independently.
