Customer Service Coordinator (Engineering Support)

About the role

We are looking for a friendly, outgoing and organised Customer Service Coordinator to act as the main link between our engineers and customers. You will join a small, fast‑paced team, supporting daily operations and ensuring a high level of service.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries and keep them updated on progress.
• Arrange annual and bi‑annual call‑outs for equipment calibration.
• Assist engineers with diary management, routing and team communication.
• Handle incoming telephone calls (≈60% of time) and redirect as needed.
• Process invoicing and engineer reports within 48 hours (≈40% of time).
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and update the customer database.
• Monitor the department email inbox and prioritize responses.

Required profile

• Proven experience in customer service.
• Preferably from an automotive or technical parts background.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and strong attention to detail.
• Team‑player who thrives in a small, dynamic environment.
• Good proficiency with MS Office.

What we offer

• Salary £28,000 per annum plus a bonus of £600‑£1,000.
• 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays.
• Working hours: 08:30‑17:00 Mon‑Thu, 08:30‑16:30 Fri (1‑hour lunch).
