Customer Service Representative – Banking (Bath)

About the role

As a Banking Representative in Metro Bank’s Bath branch, you will be the face of the bank, helping customers find the right products and delivering a high standard of service. The role is full‑time, Monday‑Friday, with occasional Saturday support for the Bristol store.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers, understand their needs and recommend suitable banking products and services.
• Prioritise tasks to meet changing customer demand and store objectives.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of regulatory and non‑regulatory requirements and ensure compliance in all transactions.
• Identify and raise any risk or compliance concerns.
• Support the Bristol store on scheduled Saturdays and manage related travel expenses.

Required profile

• Strong ability to build effective customer relationships in a fast‑paced environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail, even under pressure.
• Good understanding of the risks associated with banking transactions.
• Proficient computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience handling customer service queries and working within controlled processes; prior banking experience is not mandatory.
