Customer Service Representative / Service Advisor

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative / Service Advisor to manage our busy service desk in Gloucester. You will be the main point of contact for customers from booking to vehicle collection, ensuring a smooth and organised workshop flow.

Key responsibilities

• Manage bookings and keep the workshop schedule optimised.
• Keep customers informed throughout the service process.
• Create job cards, invoices and accurate estimates.
• Identify upsell opportunities and present them sensibly.
• Coordinate with the Parts department to ensure required items are available.
• Maintain a tidy and efficient service desk environment.

Required profile

• Experience in an administrative or office‑based role; service advisor experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers, technicians and internal teams.
• Ability to handle multiple jobs simultaneously without losing focus.
• Commercial mindset to maximise bookings and workshop efficiency.
• Proactive, ownership‑driven attitude and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Kerridge (service management software) – ideal but not essential.
