Customer Service Specialist – Personal Banking

About the role

Join Teleperformance's Glasgow office as a Customer Service Specialist supporting Lloyds Banking Group's personal banking customers. You will handle inbound calls, provide accurate information and deliver a high‑quality experience in a fast‑paced contact‑centre environment.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound customer enquiries for personal banking products and services.
• Maintain a professional, courteous telephone manner at all times.
• Accurately record interactions and resolve issues in line with company policies.
• Meet performance targets for call handling, quality and customer satisfaction.
• Complete a two‑week training programme and adapt to flexible operational hours, Monday‑Sunday.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of experience in a customer service or call‑centre role.
• Fluent spoken English with excellent verbal communication.
• Strong listening skills, empathy and the ability to handle difficult conversations.
• High attention to detail, accuracy and independent decision‑making.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented and able to work both onsite and remotely after the initial period.
