Cyber Security Analyst – Security Awareness & Operations

About the role

This 6‑month contract role joins a leading UK organisation’s Cyber Security team in Leatherhead. You will combine security‑awareness programme management with hands‑on cyber‑operations to strengthen the company’s security culture and support the infrastructure team.

Key responsibilities

• Administer the KnowBe4 Security Awareness Platform, including training delivery and phishing simulations.
• Plan, execute and report on targeted phishing campaigns.
• Produce compliance and awareness reports for senior stakeholders.
• Monitor training completion rates and recommend improvements.
• Provide threat‑intelligence support to the Infrastructure Team from the Managed SOC.
• Investigate and respond to security alerts and incidents.
• Assist with vulnerability management, remediation activities and security operations using Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Promote a proactive cyber‑security culture across the organisation.

Required profile

• Proven commercial experience administering the KnowBe4 Security Awareness Platform.
• Hands‑on experience delivering security‑awareness training and running phishing simulations.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment, initially three days per week on‑site.
• Strong analytical skills for incident investigation and threat‑intelligence handling.
