About the role
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Cyber Security Awareness & Security Operations Analyst to lead and enhance a large‑scale security awareness programme for over 6,000 users. The role combines ownership of KnowBe4 administration with hands‑on cyber security operations.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and manage the KnowBe4 platform on a day‑to‑day basis.
- Handle user onboarding, group administration and campaign scheduling.
- Deliver enterprise‑wide phishing simulation programmes.
- Create targeted security awareness campaigns for different user groups.
- Monitor training completion, engagement metrics and programme effectiveness.
- Produce compliance reports and management information.
- Develop engaging cyber awareness content across multiple communication channels.
- Deliver security awareness training to technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Support security incident investigations and response activities.
- Collaborate with internal and external SOC teams.
- Investigate security alerts and indicators of compromise (IOCs).
- Conduct threat intelligence research and reporting.
- Support vulnerability management and remediation efforts.
- Assist with access management and operational security processes.
- Contribute to cyber security dashboards, reporting and metrics.
- Utilise Microsoft Defender technologies to support threat detection and response.
Required profile
- Proven hands‑on administration experience with KnowBe4.
- Experience delivering enterprise‑scale security awareness programmes.
- Strong background running phishing simulation campaigns.
- Experience managing users, groups and training assignments in KnowBe4.
- Ability to create compliance reports and engagement metrics.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience developing cyber security awareness content and training materials.
- Understanding of cyber security operations and incident response.
- Experience working with Microsoft Defender technologies.
- Knowledge of Cyber Essentials and recognised security frameworks.
- Exposure to threat intelligence, IOCs and TTPs.
- Experience supporting organisations with 5,000+ users is advantageous.
- Experience working alongside SOC teams or managed security service providers.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Defender XDR, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, Defender for Identity and Defender for Cloud Apps.
