Cyber Security Business Development Manager

About the role

This position is a hybrid, full‑time role based in Leeds, focused on driving new business and expanding existing relationships for a leading cyber security consultancy. You will work closely with senior decision‑makers to understand their risk challenges and propose tailored security and compliance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across multiple sectors through outbound prospecting, networking and referrals.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from initial contact to negotiation and contract signing.
• Conduct discovery meetings to uncover client security challenges and present appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with technical consultants to produce detailed proposals and presentations.
• Maintain and grow a portfolio of existing customers, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business.
• Record activities, forecasts and pipeline information in the CRM system.
• Achieve and exceed quarterly revenue targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a consultative sales or business development role, preferably within cyber security or related technology services.
• Strong ability to engage with C‑level, IT, security, risk and compliance stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated with a track record of meeting or surpassing sales targets.
