Data Engineer – Azure & BI Solutions

About the role

Join a leading international technology organisation as a Data Engineer, working within a hybrid model (three days onsite) in Dartford. You will play a pivotal part in designing, building and maintaining the company’s Business Intelligence and data platform, ensuring high‑quality data supports critical business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain ETL processes, data pipelines and integration solutions.
• Create and optimise data models for reporting, analytics and performance measurement.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
• Ensure data integrity, governance and quality across the BI environment.
• Support ongoing development and optimisation of the reporting and analytics platform.
• Maintain technical documentation, processes and data‑architecture standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a Data Engineer, BI Engineer or Data & Analytics role.
• Strong background designing and building data solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Hands‑on experience with large, complex datasets and business‑critical systems.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure Data Factory
• Azure Synapse Analytics or Azure Fabric
• Advanced SQL querying and data manipulation
• Python for automation and data processing
• Data warehousing and data modelling best practices
• ETL design and pipeline development
