Data Governance Analyst – Metadata

About the role

Ageas is building a data‑driven culture and is looking for a Data Governance Analyst focused on metadata. You will join a growing Data Governance team, work with leading tools such as Collibra and Databricks Unity Catalog, and help shape how data and AI are governed across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning and delivery of the metadata roadmap, owning specific deliverables.
• Develop new capabilities in Collibra and Unity Catalog to increase tool maturity.
• Collaborate with Data Owners and Stewards to improve data delivery and quality governance.
• Demonstrate metadata tooling value to business stakeholders.
• Identify process automation opportunities through metadata tooling.
• Coach stakeholders on the importance of business context in metadata management.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of data governance best practices and metadata management.
• At least 2 years of experience in a data governance role within the financial sector.
• DAMA qualification is desirable.
