Data & Reporting Analyst – Programme Performance

About the role

We are looking for a Data & Reporting Analyst to join our Programme Performance team in Manchester (or Leeds/York). The role supports high‑profile infrastructure programmes, driving data‑driven performance reporting and helping clients make informed decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and continuously improve data and performance reporting processes across complex programmes.
• Develop fit‑for‑purpose data performance and reporting management plans based on project requirements and data maturity.
• Promote data performance and reporting benefits within delivery teams and embed integrated reporting hierarchies.
• Define KPIs and maintain a performance measures dictionary.
• Lead teams of data performance professionals to deliver consistent, assured reporting to clients.
• Present data performance recommendations to senior stakeholders and support decision‑making.
• Train and coach clients and junior team members on reporting processes.
• Undertake line‑management, mentoring and competency development activities.

Required profile

• Project Controls qualification (e.g., Project Planning & Controls, APM PMQ).
• Proven experience delivering data and digital reporting on multiple complex projects.
• Track record of configuring and setting up project reporting information systems.
• Practical experience with Earned Value Management, progress reporting, forecasting and performance analysis.
• Understanding of programme performance areas such as planning and cost.
