Day Concierge - High End Residential

About the role

An experienced Day Concierge is sought for a prestigious modern residential development in Shoreditch. The post-holder is the first point of contact for residents, visitors, contractors and clients, and plays a key part in keeping the building welcoming, secure and well managed. Hours are 07:00 to 19:00, four days on and four days off, with a salary of up to £29,000 per annum.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist residents, visitors and contractors in a professional and friendly way
• Manage front-of-house duties, including reception and telephone enquiries
• Provide a high level of service and assistance to residents and their guests
• Maintain building security through access control and CCTV monitoring
• Liaise with leaseholders, residents, managing agents and contractors
• Carry out regular building patrols and report faults, maintenance issues or security concerns to the Building Manager
• Complete weekly fire alarm, lift alarm and other compliance checks and keep accurate records
• Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents and complaints in line with Health & Safety procedures
• Manage key control systems and keep accurate sign-in and sign-out records
• Receive and securely manage deliveries, parcels and registered mail, notifying residents when they are ready for collection

Required profile

• Ideally previous experience in a residential, property or similar concierge environment
• A strong track record of customer service
• Experience liaising with contractors and coordinating works in a busy residential development
• Good understanding of fire safety, health and safety and general security procedures
• Ability to handle confidential information discreetly
• Calm, professional approach to incidents and complaints
