Delivery Postie with Driving – Full‑time Role

About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Delivery Postie and become a trusted face in your local community. You will deliver letters, parcels and essential items across Scunthorpe, working in all weather conditions while staying active and fit.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and sort mail and parcels for delivery routes.
• Deliver items to residential and business addresses between 07:00‑12:00 or 15:00‑20:00, Monday to Sunday as required.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain signatures where necessary.
• Ensure the safety and security of all items during transport.
• Represent Royal Mail positively, providing excellent customer service.

Required profile

• Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
• Organised, punctual and committed to great customer service.
• Enjoy walking for long periods and working outdoors in any weather.
• Strong sense of community and pride in the role.
• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
