Depot Manager – Commercial Vehicles

About the role

We are seeking a driven Depot Manager to lead our busy commercial‑vehicle after‑sales operation in Croydon. You will own the performance of both parts and service departments, ensuring profitability, safety and exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Maximise profitability of parts and service, improving staff utilisation and operational efficiency.
• Prepare budgets in partnership with the General Manager/Finance Controller.
• Maintain full Health & Safety compliance and uphold Iveco Dealer Operating standards.
• Recruit, select and develop staff across all departments.
• Implement and monitor training plans for depot personnel.
• Ensure premises are secure, well‑maintained and meet brand standards.
• Drive new business opportunities alongside senior management.
• Handle invoice queries promptly and monitor warranty/contract ledgers.
• Participate in Iveco‑measured campaigns and competitions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a main‑dealer workshop environment.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Current driving licence.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines and solve problems proactively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
