Depot Sales Advisor – Tool & Parts Sales (Normanton)

About the role

Join a busy depot in Normanton as a Depot Sales Advisor, supporting customers in the tool hire, construction, plant and ground‑care sectors. You will work Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm, providing product advice, quotations and after‑sales support.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with customers face‑to‑face, by phone and email.
• Liaise with suppliers and operate their systems to check parts and stock.
• Use internal company systems to process orders and quotations.
• Demonstrate tools and equipment to customers.
• Prepare and issue quotes, take payments and process orders.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Send service reminders and update social media with offers.
• Pick, pack and inspect machinery as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in sales, parts advisory or tool‑hire environments within construction, plant or related industries.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Computer literate with the ability to learn new software quickly.

Required skills

• Computer literacy and proficiency with internal and supplier systems.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
