Deputy Centre Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Deputy Centre Manager to support the day‑to‑day operations of our West Sussex office hub. Reporting to the Centre Manager, you will help ensure the centre runs safely, efficiently and delivers a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Centre Manager in maintaining health‑and‑safety standards and overall building presentation.
• Oversee facilities, contractors and suppliers, including soft and hard FM tasks such as cleanliness, security and asset maintenance.
• Manage the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule and ensure accurate documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support commercial performance through invoicing, debt follow‑up and purchase order reconciliation.
• Act as the deputy during the Centre Manager’s absence, coordinating team activities and stakeholder engagement to maintain continuity.

Required profile

• Experience supporting the operational delivery of a high‑quality workspace or similar environment.
• Background in a customer‑facing or service‑led role with a focus on professional standards.
• Proven ability to coordinate team activity and meet operational standards.
• Experience with basic financial processes such as invoicing and debt management.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with customers, colleagues and external partners.
