Derivatives Operations Analyst – London (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Derivatives Operations Analyst to join a leading finance organisation in London. The role is focused on managing derivative transactions on the BlackRock Aladdin OMS platform and works closely with front‑office portfolio managers, traders and middle‑office providers.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with front‑office teams to oversee derivative trade processing and reconciliation.
• Manage collateral requirements for futures, swaps, swaptions and equity options.
• Resolve operational issues related to derivatives and propose efficiency improvements.
• Engage directly with investment teams to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
• Support the evaluation and implementation of new derivative investment types.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or related field (preferred).
• Master’s degree or CFA designation is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of debt and equity instruments and hands‑on experience with futures, swaps, swaptions and equity options.
• Familiarity with BlackRock Aladdin OMS platform.
• Excellent communication skills and proven client‑service experience.
