About the role
We are looking for an experienced Design & Technology (DT) Technician to join a well‑established secondary school in the Wirral. The role starts in September 2026 and supports the DT department during a busy period on a short‑term, full‑time basis.
Key responsibilities
- Assist teaching staff with the delivery of DT lessons across the department.
- Prepare, organise and maintain workshop materials, tools and equipment.
- Ensure health and safety standards are consistently upheld in the workshop.
- Support practical sessions by setting up workstations and providing technical guidance.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a DT Technician in a school setting.
- Completed DATA training (essential).
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to workshop safety.
