Development Delivery Director – Regional Development Programme

About the role

SNG is seeking a Development Delivery Director to lead the delivery of a diverse regional development programme across South East England. Based in Basingstoke, you will oversee joint ventures, greenfield and brownfield projects, regeneration initiatives and Section 106 obligations, ensuring safe, on‑time and high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership for the regional development portfolio, managing risk, cost, schedule and quality.
• Build, mentor and inspire a high‑performing delivery team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Maintain robust programme governance, accurate reporting and proactive risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with Land & New Business, Regeneration, Sales, Finance, Commercial and Operations to align pipeline performance and remediate issues.
• Ensure delivery standards meet the company’s investment strategy and business plan.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large, complex development programmes with clear accountability for time, cost, quality and risk.
• Strong financial literacy, able to interpret development funding models and manage commercial risk.
• Visible, inclusive leadership style that promotes collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Experience in housing or mixed‑use development, including joint ventures and regeneration projects.
