Development Manager (Hybrid, Epsom)

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced Development Manager to lead digital and API initiatives across the business. The role is hybrid, requiring two days per week on‑site at their modern office near Epsom.

Key responsibilities

• Drive company‑wide IT modernisation and digital transformation programmes.
• Manage Agile delivery of API projects, ensuring SOAP and REST standards are met.
• Coordinate with three external vendors to align technology road‑maps.
• Oversee BAU and project‑based work, balancing operational stability with innovation.
• Engage senior stakeholders to capture requirements and ensure platform adoption.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a Development Manager or similar senior IT role.
• Strong background in digital transformation and API development.
• Excellent stakeholder management across multiple business units.
• Experience working with third‑party vendors and managing multi‑party projects.
• Product ownership or product management experience is a plus.
