Development Manager – Land Acquisition

About the role

The Development Manager will work within the Acquisitions team to identify and secure land opportunities across the North region. Reporting to a Senior Acquisitions Manager, you will help drive the Agency’s mission to accelerate housing delivery and support innovative placemaking projects.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate land opportunities in the North region.
• Support negotiation and transaction processes for land deals.
• Collaborate with multi‑functional teams to design and deliver strategic projects.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to secure development land effectively.
• Contribute to the creation of lasting legacies through innovative placemaking.

Required profile

• Comfortable handling complex land issues and delivering commercial solutions.
• Resilient with experience managing senior‑level stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of the commercial and operational impact of acquisitions.
• Enjoys working in an innovative, collaborative, and inclusive environment.
