DevOps Engineer – Cloud & Automation (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a high‑performing engineering function supporting a flagship SaaS product. You will work in a cloud‑native environment, building and improving tooling, automation and infrastructure that processes terabytes of data. The position is hybrid, with two days per week on‑site in Croydon.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple engineering teams.
• Automate infrastructure and deployments using Infrastructure as Code.
• Support Azure cloud services and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments.
• Enhance platform monitoring, observability and operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot production and deployment issues to ensure platform reliability.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers, Platform Engineers and Security teams to streamline delivery processes.
• Contribute to initiatives such as GitHub migration, automation and AI‑assisted tooling.

Required profile

• Commercial experience with Azure cloud services.
• Hands‑on experience with AKS/Kubernetes.
• Strong background in Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Proven ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of monitoring, logging and observability solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile engineering teams.
