DevOps Engineer – IAM & Cloud Automation

About the role

Coforge is seeking a DevOps Engineer to lead the automation and operation of enterprise Identity & Access Management (IAM) services. Based in Sheffield, the role combines cloud expertise with IAM knowledge to deliver secure, scalable solutions across hybrid environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for IAM components, policies, connectors and micro‑services.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible to provision IAM platforms on GCP, AWS and Azure.
• Develop automated testing, security scanning and controlled deployments across DEV, TEST and PROD environments.
• Deploy IAM services and related micro‑services on Kubernetes (GKE), serverless platforms and containerised environments.
• Manage containerisation, service‑mesh integrations, certificates and secrets for IAM workloads.
• Embed security checks such as vulnerability scanning and secrets detection into the build process.
• Collaborate with IAM architects, security engineers, platform teams and application owners.
• Create and maintain documentation for pipelines, IaC, deployment patterns and operational processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and IAM solutions.
• Strong background in DevOps practices, CI/CD engineering and automation.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, global organisation and deliver reliable services.
