Direct Support Professional – Norwich Region

About the role

Springbrook is seeking Direct Support Professionals to join its team in the Norwich region. New hires receive a $1,500 sign‑on bonus and earn $20–$22 per hour. The role involves supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in educational, residential, and community settings.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal care.
• Promote choice, independence, and safety while providing protective oversight.
• Ensure compliance with Springbrook policies and state regulations.
• Support clients in community outings, recreational activities, and daily routines.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, overnights, and mandatory overtime.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lb independently and assist with heavier loads.
• Valid driver’s license and eligibility to drive Springbrook vehicles.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
